Ron Walczak started RSW Recruiting Solutions to establish an executive search company that would support specialty materials and growth companies to deliver world-class talent to organizations looking to take their business to the next level. Ronald Walczak “Ron” is President and owner of RSW Recruiting Solutions , focused on partnering with companies that process Specialty Materials.
Ron is a seasoned business manager who has an extensive executive sales and marketing background in specialty and high-performance materials. He has served in Vice President and Director level positions in General Management, Sales & Marketing, Product Development and Supply Chain roles with General Electric, AlliedSignal, Materion and Minerals Technologies, Inc. on a global basis in both the US and China. His assignments have included global executive leadership, research and product development, steering committee and leadership of six sigma and lean at multiple companies, and organizational transformation in the US, Asia and Germany including working with unions and a work council in Germany. He was a lean six sigma green belt.
Ron’s customer and client focus is with manufacturers in the chemical and specialty material areas and industries where he has experience and knowledge including chemicals, engineered and thermoset resins and plastics, laminates, composites, refractories, minerals and metals. His industry focus has included electrical and electronics, O&G, aerospace, plastics, steel, and paper.
Ron holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Clarkson University. Ron’s training includes management courses at the GE Management Institute – Crotonville and Tucks School of Business – Dartmouth College. Ron attended a number of leadership and organizational training courses including the Center for Creative Leadership – Greensboro, NC. Ron enjoys exercise, biking, golfing, yard-work, wine and family. He and his wife Barb reside in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. They have three grown sons, a Doctor of Pharmacy and sons attending medical school and law school, all in Ohio.
